Arcturus Mandala (mandala 29)
Arcturus is the brightest star in the northern constellation of Boötes (boh-OH-teez) constellation. It is the fourth-brightest star in the night sky, and the brightest in the northern celestial hemisphere.
Edgar Cayce called the Arcturians the most advanced community in the universe, the community most similar to the divine. The star Arcturus was mentioned by Cayce in more than 30 of his psychic readings, beginning in 1928. He saw Arcturus as a "gateway" to higher realms of consciousness that can have a profound effect on people's lives.
My creations are hand drawn. I use primarily black ink, alcohol markers, colored pencils and graphite. My inspiration comes from the letting-go of internal and external expectations and the flow state of just being in the present moment; that place where time ceases to exist and we are free from all that defines us.
Creativity has always been a part of my life. We are all connected. Connection and connectivity are themes present throughout most of my visual art. I believe connection is at the heart of creation. I hope my designs inspire you to look inward, listen deeply and move forward with an inner knowing that all is well, and that you are loved, unique and divine.
