This design incorporates the Sanskrit symbol for, and is inspired by, the energy of unconditional love. Unconditional love is the fabric of the universe and connects us all. This piece is a reminder of that connection.

My mandala creations are hand drawn. I use primarily black ink, alcohol markers, colored pencils and graphite. My inspiration comes from thinking about how I feel when I create them. I want to connect with that “space” again so I start another one. Creativity has always been a part of my life. We are all connected. Connection and connectivity are themes present throughout most of my visual art. Although I do not consciously focus on this when I’m creating a new piece, it becomes clear after looking at the finished piece that it has manifested. I think connection is at the heart of creation.
